Guangzhou Dragon Boat competition attracts over 100 teams from around the globe every year. What is a dragon boat 龙舟? It’s a long wooden boat resembling a canoe. It seats 20 rowers, two-by-two with a stroke-rhythm-keeping drummer in the bow and a pilot in the stern. The teams compete in races all throughout southern China and southeast Asia and have been for centuries. Guangzhou’s race is one of the premier events in all of Asia. The race is 600 m of thrashing Pearl River water and attracts thousands spectators every June. Lingnan MBA team from Sun Yat-sen University has put together a powerful multinational team this year. They practice several times every week out on the Pearl River - just out the north gate of the university. It’s great fun! Come watch!

又快到一年一度的端午节，“龙舟”比赛，这个传统的庆祝方式又一次走进人们的视野。
但试问：有多少中国人会去关心？
如果，让你去参加划龙舟比赛，你会去么？
如果，让你顶着37度的高温，在烈日下训练，你会去么？
如果，还让你要自己掏腰包，每次20元钱，你会去么？
我想，很多人会选择不去。但是，这里却有这样一支特殊的队伍，“傻乎乎”地积极参加端午节的划龙舟比赛。
他们，都没有任何的划龙舟经验，却自发组织参加2007年6月23日 “2007广州国际龙舟邀请赛”。他们，要自己掏钱，自己筹钱，（预计1万元左右），还要顶着烈日训练。
他们，是来自南方某一全国著名高校的学生们。他们中，有“良好的教育背景、丰富社会经验、本可以花钱看场龙舟比赛好好享受却硬要出钱又出力地“折磨”自己”的新一代国际MBA们，有“80年后出生，被视为漠视他人以个人为中心”的研究生，有“喜欢中国，热爱中国文化”的美国、加拿大、法国、意大利留学生们。他们，为了同一个目的走到了一起！
追逐在金钱、权力身后的人，前赴后继；不懂得关心他人，安于享乐的人比比皆是。当越来越多的中国学生走出国门，越来越多的中国MBA站在了世界的舞台，我们为此骄傲的同时，我们是不是也应该反省下我们还缺什么？
今天，我发这个贴，不为什么，只是想宣泄一下我对他们的敬意！在中国还有多少人能这样，干些“吃力不讨好”的事？
