Chinese Party Games
Our Chinese hosts may not frequent bars as much as their Western counterparts but they do have a plethora of clever party/drinking games to offer to the already burgeoning surplus of stupid-things-humans-do-while-drunk. A work in progress…
1. Guangzhou dice – I won’t bother to explain this one but if you’ve got three cups, 18 dice, and three bored drinkers, it’s guaranteed to be a hit.
2. Around a table – someone says a number and the person to the right says one number higher and so on until the number to be said is has either a “7” in it (like 17 or 75) or is a multiple of seven, then instead of saying the number you tap your chopsticks. Do this until someone screws up and then they drink (or eat some weird part of an unfinished animal – say the duck’s brain – at the table). Hours of entertainment.
